New Delhi( CNN) An advert challenging standards and norms of a traditional kinfolk in India has extended viral, with more than 9 million views on YouTube.

The ad’s storyline moves the issue of transgender claims within the country and exposes the human rights line-up of the question in precisely three and a half minutes.

Released online on March 31, the business by medicine firm Vicks tells the true fib of Gayatri, a young Indian orphan who was adopted by Gauri Sawant, a 37 -year-old Mumbai-based transgender woman and social activist.
