After his visitation for sexual assault, Bill Cosby says he can’t wait to get back to constructing people laugh.
In an interview with the National Newspaper Publishers Association, Cosby said he missed doing humor and has some flakes he’s working on:” I think about walking out onstage somewhere in the United States of America and sitting down in a chair and contributing the performance this is gonna be the beginning of the next chapter of my profession .”
Starting June 5, Cosby sits in another chair and faces accuser Andrea Constand, who claims the comedian stoned and assaulted her in 2004 at his home in Pennsylvania. More then 50 wives have offered a similar copy of this story over the last 50 times. Constand, onetime director of operations for women’s basketball at Temple University, be the first time that accuser to see visitation. She registered a civil clothing against Cosby in 2005, in which the comedian testified their meeting was consensual. Other Jane Does came forward at the time as well.
Cosby also confirmed he’s legally blind, which would make it difficult to identify Constand, his defense argues.
Other pro-Cosby articles have already started running prior to the opening of the visitation: His daughter Evin Cosby recently wrote a piece for Black Press USA attacking her papa. Cosby’s lawyer confirmed they attempt to” change the optics” in the case.
Jury selection for the case is slated for May 22 in Pittsburgh.
