According to USA TODAY:
House Republican obstruction a referendum Wednesday on legislation to create an independent commission to investigate Russian interference in the 2016 poll. A Democratic effort to coerce a referendum miscarried, with simply one Republican Rep. Walter Jones of North Carolina joining them in a procedural referendum that would have allowed them to bring up the statement.
The greenbacks 199 cosponsors include two Republican Jones and Rep. Justin Amash, of Michigan. Amash voted with his party to blocking bringing up the bill.
Voted to block the samebill he cosponsored? That’s strange. Maybe there was no such referendum Wednesday.

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js Harmonizing to The Hill, House Democrats are accumulating names on granting discharge position that would move theProtecting Our Democracy Act, which would create a 12 -member, bipartisan investigate fee, out of committee and to the House floor for a referendum.
Amash, along with Rep.Walter Jones, are the only two Republican so far to have signed on to the petition. Correction : While Amash didcosponsorof Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell’s bill to create and independent fee, he did not ratify granting discharge petition, which is an attempt to coerce a vote on thebill .
DNC chair Tom Perez got it right in a tweet Wednesday morning the division about granting discharge petition, at least.
House Democrats have registered granting discharge petition to coerce a vote on an independent #TrumpRussia fee.
