‘Clock boy’ lawsuit tossed out by federal judge

( CNN) A federal judge has thrown out a lawsuit entered after police detained a Muslim teen in Texas when officials at his academy believed the clock that he had compiled was a bomb.

Mohamed Elhassan Mohamed, the parent of Ahmed Mohamed, sued the Irving Independent School District, McArthur High School principal Daniel Cummings, and the city of Irving, Texas, for unknown impairs after his then-1 4-year-old son was detained and shelved from academy in such cases that impelled national headlines in 2015. No blames were filed against Ahmed.

The lawsuit alleged the school district and police of discriminating against Ahmed because of his scoot and belief, thereby flouting Ahmed’s civil and constitutional rights.
