What chemicals are in your mac and cheese?

( CNN) It’s not listed on the ingredient roster, but a brand-new analysis wrote the coming week found high concentrations of the chemicals known as phthalates in the cheese pulverization of macaroni and cheese.

The tiny survey evaluated 30 different cheese commodities which included natural cheese concoctions, including barrier or string cheese, as well as managed cheese slivers and the cheese powder may be in boxed macaroni and cheese. The analysis found evidence of the substance in 29 of the 30 products experimented. Natural cheese had the lowest levels of the substance, while processed cheese produces had the highest levels.

The analysis was done by the the Coalition for Safer Food Processing& Packaging, a consortium of environmental health advocacy groups, and has not been published in a peer reviewed magazine.
