Oxygen therapy brings ‘remarkable’ turnaround for toddler who fell in pool

( CNN) Eden Carlson’s story might be one in a million.

The toddler, who suffered brain damage after falling into a swimming bath at 23 months old-time, has begun to rebuild her brain function after medication with hyperbaric oxygen care, according to a case study published last-place month in the magazine Medical Gas Research.

“We’re provoking swelling of material and inhibiting swelling and stopping cadre fatality, ” enunciated Dr. Paul G. Harch, clinical prof and administrator of hyperbaric medicine at LSU Health New Orleans School of Medicine.
